If you’ve got it, flaunt it. These aztec print sequin shorts are definitely a show stopper. I wanted to pair the shorts with a simple basic top to avoid the whole look becoming too busy. My all time favorite type of jewelry to wear is turquoise ( along with my favorite color as well) so any excuse to wear big chunky turquoise accessories, i’m sold. Gladiator heels and cut out boots are very popular this fall season, especially when you live somewhere where fall doesn’t necessarily exist. These Gladiator heels by Tildon are a great way to transform an average look into a “turning heads” look. This is a surprisingly comfortable outfit that would be great for a night out on the town. You could find me wearing this around 10pm sipping martinis with my girlfriends at Bar Marmont. Possibly followed by some shots…

So Charlotte.

I’m seeing spots.

Am I channeling my inner Charlotte York? Her style is feminine, classic and effortlessly preppy. I feel like I could be taking a stroll down the park with a spritz of Chanel no. 5. Ok, maybe i’m exaggerating. Putting together a look that is inspired by a character can be fun. It can be influential in the sense that you’re about to combine pieces that normally you wouldn’t even think about putting together. I started with the high wasted polka dot skirt and wanted to pair it with a solid color sweater. I added the black collared blouse underneath to give it a bit more prep appeal. The floral print platform I feel gives the look some youth and some edge ( verses a solid colored shoe). The cat eye Kate Spade glasses and the high sleek ponytail polish off the look with some class. You could find me wearing this look strolling through the Getty Art Museum on an afternoon date. So Charlotte.

I’m with the van.

I have a confession. I love skinny jeans.

These camo print jeans you could really wear with anything in my opinion. Camo is a huge statement print that you’re going to see throughout the stores this fall season. I chose to give this look a little “rocker chic” spin on it by pairing it with a classic concert tee and leather accessories. You can change this look easily from day to night. For the day time you can lose the blazer for a more casual experience. For the night the blazer adds more sophistication and I’d even add a sleek pony and a heavy cat eye. I adore these heels by Paper Fox, they’re comfortable and practical for being on your feet throughout the day. Find me in this look at 6pm on Ventura blvd meeting some friends for after work cocktails.
