I never thought I would utter the words, but I’m glad summer is coming to an end. Even though the heat does not really subside from Los Angeles, I am looking forward to a little change in wardrobe. September 1st started off my 7th month in my pregnancy, and I’m excited to start experimenting with different ways to style my baby bump. Something I love to do when putting together an outfit is going with an overall theme for my look. In this particular ensemble, I chose to go about a 60’s mod theme (insert an Austin Powers “yeah, baby!”) Being pregnant, I like to make sure i’m extra cautious on how and what I spend my money on (being that I am saving for a new baby) so when I come across a steal like this fabulous dress, I have to take advantage and buy it! I managed to find this non-maternity navy dress at Marshalls in Studio City, and I’m totally in love with it. When a pregnant chick can find a non-maternity dress that fits appropriate, it’s like finding gold. It also has an adjustable appliqué strap on the side (how perfect, right?) that I can adjust to loosen or tighten around my baby bump. The leopard print booties I managed to find on ShoeDazzle a couple years ago, but luckily for myself and other fashionistas, the mod booty is totally in the fall season (picture the Beatles meets Austin Powers). Yellow is a color you should expect to see this fall, and this fun little Michael Kors satchel is a great accessory to add to any wardrobe. Here’s to the start of Fall and the start of my third trimester!
